PS4 Spider-Man Game Will Explain The White Logo And Its Use

Probably one of the most intriguing parts of the PS4 Spider-Man's suit is the giant white spider emblem that he has on the classic blue and red suit. Though we've seen the wallcrawler have multiple costumes in the comics, this is undoubtedly one of the suits that has stood out above the rest. As it turns out, there's a reason for the suit's very unique design.

When asked about the "stupid ass" spider emblem, Insomniac Games replied:

As for the story, it will focus on an adult Peter Parker who has actually been "Spider-Manning" for a while now. The game also boasts to have a combat system similar to the Arkham franchise, and will also feature several different options for roaming the city and using webshooters.

For anyone who doesn't like the white emblem, however, it's also been confirmed that Spider-Man will have a whole array of alternate costumes to choose from. I'm just guessing because it's been in every game, there will be a black suit Spider-Man, a classic Spider-Man, an Iron Spider, and every Spider-Man costume from the movies—that's just my guess, by the way.

This Spider-Man game is expected for a release in 2018, but you can watch Spider-Man: Homecoming in theaters July 7.
