It's hard to believe that Overwatch is already two years old but the shooter has continued to be a favorite amongst online players. Frankly, it's hard to blame them since the game has such a colorful cast of characters, not to mention the amazing animated shorts that have hyped up the various heroes.
Well, the franchise is about to reach another level of popularity, as a press release has confirmed that the massive online shooter is getting some Lego sets, which is awesome.
According to the press release, these Lego sets will include the various levels and characters from the game, which is a treat for fans. No official images have been released, unfortunately, but considering how impressive most of Lego sets are, expect to be impressed.
This isn't the only form of media Overwatch is expanding to, as the press release has also mentioned action figures coming from Hasbro and a series of Nerf guns, which sound fun. UNIQLO is also planning to release a variety of clothes based on the game and its various characters.
From Blizzard and Activision, Overwatch is currently one of the most popular online shooters around. The game continues to be updated, often adding new characters, events, and locations to shoot each other in. It can currently be bought on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
