Overwatch had just announced their new upcoming hero, Wrecking Ball a.k.a. Hammond the Hamster, but the devs should check out this new made-up game mode from some guys at the PTR—Hammond Racing!

The objective seems pretty simple, a group of players race each other—all as Wrecking Ball—to reach the end of a map first. The players have to use Hammond's unique way of moving to try and navigate the map as best as they can.
It seems like a very fun mode in line with Lucio Ball and I wouldn't be surprised if Overwatch actually made this a legit game mode when they drop the hero. They wouldn't even need to make a new map; just repurpose some familiar ones for racing.
Is it too much to ask for special weapon power-ups in-race?
For now, they're still working out the kinks on Wrecking Ball. The hero is available for PTR, and it's possible that they change a few things here and there when he's officially launched. He looks like a lot of fun, and though he wasn't Jetpack Cat, I'm sure Hammond's addition will pave the way for more animal characters' arriving to the game.
Overwatch is now playable for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
