Yesterday Chris Pratt posted a video of himself gushing over his pal John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place, and now Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds is also giving his thumbs up and congratulations for the movie.

Krasinski himself being no stranger to joking around, replied to Reynolds:

And the internet happily brings us full circle with this:

It’s worth noting that A Quiet Place has managed to rake up a huge weekend profit with $50 million. This is John Krasinski’s first time in the director’s chair, and he even brought along his wife Emily Blunt to star alongside him.

Though this is Krasinski’s first feature-length movie (that he directed), he’s probably had some great practice having directed some episodes of the hit NBC sitcom The Office himself. Who knew Jimmy Halpert had the chops to do horror?

I don’t know what it is, but there seems to be something going on with comedy actors directing successful horror movies. Last year saw the successful release of Jordan Peele’s Get Out, and now people are singing heaps of praises at Krasinski for his work on A Quiet Place.

What’s next, Andy Samberg is going to direct his own horror movie as well?

Here’s a brief premise for A Quiet Place:

A family is forced to live in silence while hiding from creatures that hunt by sound

Catch Krasinki’s first movie A Quiet Place now out in theaters.
