X-Men Alum Daniel Cudmore Joins Hulu Series Marvel's Helstrom

A mutant is joining Marvel's Helstrom. Daniel Cudmore, who is best known for playing the original Colossus in the X-Men films, has just been cast in the upcoming Hulu series.

According to Deadline, Cudmore has been added to the Helstrom cast in a recurring role. However, fans shouldn't expect to see Peter Rasputin working with Ana and Daimon Hellstrom just yet. The report confirms that Cudmore has been cast as Keith Spivey, who is described as "a nurse at St. Teresa's where Daimon and Ana's mother, Victoria, has been institutionalized for the last 20 years."

Cudmore seems like an interesting choice to play a nurse considering that the former Twilight actor is well over six feet tall and built like a powerful mutant. Something tells me that he's more than just a nurse or orderly in the upcoming series and could play an important role in the storyline.

Marvel's Helstrom will follow the story of Daimon and Satana, who are "the children of a powerful serial killer" (I mean, there are other ways to describe Satan, but we'll have to accept this" as they "hunt the worst of humanity." Tom Austen has been cast as Daimon while Sydney Lemmon will portray Satana, or just Ana, in the series.

The show started production in early October and is expected to continue filming until February next year. Although the official premiere date of Marvel's Helstrom has not yet been announced, the series could air on Hulu by late 2020.
