Wonder Woman 1984: Gal Gadot Cried After Watching DC Film for the First Time

It looks like Gal Gadot simply can't stop hyping up Wonder Woman 1984. The Justice League star has just confessed that she cried when she saw the final cut of the DC Extended Universe film for the first time.

Gadot is currently promoting the Warner Bros. flick along with director Patty Jenkins at the 2019 Comic Con Experience in Brazil. Interestingly, the former Fast and Furious star shared her initial reaction to seeing the highly anticipated sequel (via Twitter).

"For an actor to see himself playing in a movie is always a very strange thing, because you're very judgmental about yourself and you're very nervous and all you see is you, and I got to say the first time I watched Wonder Woman [1984], and it was the very first cut, the very first director's cut, I forgot it was me and I was is invested even though I shot the whole movie and I read the script a million times and we did it and filmed it for eight whole months and all of a sudden seeing all the puzzle pieces coming together and seeing this huge, grand," Gadot said. She then added that she needed to contact Jenkins because of all the emotions she felt.

"I called Patty crying. I had an even bigger reaction than I did for the first one," Gadot concluded.

That sounds like an awesome reaction to the movie that isn't even a direct sequel to the 2017 movie. Needless to say, we can't wait to see Diana Prince back in action next year.

Wonder Woman 1984 will premiere on June 5, 2020.
