We already know that Monica Rambeau will be one of the major players in WandaVision. But what exactly is in store for the Marvel comic book hero? Teyonah Parris spoke about her character's role in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe series.

Parris recently spoke to The Undefeated about getting her start on acting and she admitted that it all started with the desire to play a superhero.

“This has been a childhood dream. To be a Marvel superhero. I can even remember, I’ve always said that, ‘I want to be a superhero,’” Parris admitted. “Then, when the MCU opened up, I think I was in college. It was like I want to be a Marvel superhero.”

But what can we expect from Parris now that she is indeed a Marvel superhero? The Mad Men star didn't reveal too much although she did tease that there will be a lot of action scenes to look forward to.

“To be Monica Rambeau, she’s such a badass in the comics. I just can’t believe that this is happening. This is full-on action movie, mixed with sitcoms, it’s wild. It’s wild. I think people will be very excited,” Parris said.

We already know that Monica could end up getting her powers in WandaVision, thanks to the show's first trailer. Needless to say, we can't wait to see Parris in action soon.

WandaVision will also star Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff and Vision, respectively. The series is expected to premiere on Disney+ this December although the official release date has not yet been revealed. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
