It's been a while since we got any updates about Vin Diesel's live-action adaptation of Bloodshot. Luckily, we finally have a brief yet bloody new teaser that confirms when we can expect to see the film's full trailer.

The teaser was shared on Instagram and although it's short, it also happens to be rather gory. Check it out below.

That's right, Diesel's character Ray Garrison just got his face blown off and it looks nasty (but in a good way). There's a possibility that the footage is taken from the film's first act where Ray gets murdered. It's a really brief look right now but the footage promises that Bloodshot will be action-packed, just the way we like Diesel's movies.

Bloodshot is based on the Valiant Comics character who is a former soldier who can regenerate and morph thanks to the nanites that have been injected into his blood. The film will also star Outlander actor Sam Heughan as Cpl. Harlan 'So Long' Shifflet, Iron Man 3's Guy Pearce as Dr. Emil Harting, and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes star Toby Kebbell as Axe. Eiza Gonzalez of Alita: Battle Angel has also been cast in a mystery role.

The official trailer for Bloodshot will drop on Monday, October 21. The movie is scheduled for release on February 21, 2020.
