Watch out, J.K. Rowling! It looks like Tom Holland is giving the author a run for her money when it comes to Harry Potter trivia. The Spider-Man 3 star just boasted that he knows more about the beloved franchise than the woman who created it in the first place.
Holland was recently a guest on BBC Radio 1's Film Critic Ali Plumb where he expressed his excitement about an upcoming trivia night (or morning, in Holland's case) dedicated to Harry Potter.
"Tomorrow morning is the Harry Potter Pub Quiz at my local, and I would smash that quiz," the Avengers: Endgame star shared. He then pointed out that he believes he will do extremely well at the game because of his extensive knowledge.
"I think I know more about Harry Potter than J.K. Rowling, I'm like obsessed with Harry Potter. Growing up as a kid, it was my favorite thing ever," Holland stated.
Whoah there, Tom. That might be a little too much, even if you are an enthusiastic Harry Potter fan. Although we believe that Holland could excel in the pub quiz, we still think that Rowling should be the true authority in all things Harry Potter. Nevertheless, we're hoping that Holland does well in the quiz.
Holland is currently expected to reprise his role as Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3, which has been given a cool working title yet again. Not surprisingly, the sequel's working title is once again a Seinfeld reference. It would have been interesting if it was a Harry Potter reference instead.
Spider-Man 3 is scheduled for release on July 16, 2021.
