Tom Hiddleston Will Return In Disney's Loki Spinoff Series

Disney seems to know exactly what Marvel fans need right now. The House of Mouse has just confirmed that Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as the God of Mischief in the highly anticipated Loki spinoff series.

The Walt Disney Company has just announced that the direct-to-consumer streaming service will be called Disney+. In addition to that, the press release revealed that Marvel Studios is already developing Loki's show which will star Hiddleston.

The new series is certainly a great idea for Disney and Marvel considering that Loki has been a fan-favorite since his debut in 2011's Thor. Hiddleston has reprised the role in three more Marvel Cinematic Universe films, each time gaining more followers. The character's shocking demise in Avengers: Infinity War has even led to speculations that Loki had once again faked his death and will be back in Avengers 4.

Although we're not sure if Loki will be back in A4, we can all rest assured that we haven't seen the last of Hiddleston's character. The new series is expected to begin production before the end of the year.

Disney also announced that a Rogue One: A Star Wars Story spinoff show will air on the streaming service. The series will bring back Diego Luna and focus on his character Cassian Andor. The spy thriller is also set to start production within the next few months.

The House of Mouse is also preparing new shows for beloved Disney franchise Monsters Inc. In addition to that, a new High School Musical film will be developed in the next year.
