Tom Hiddleston Possibly Reveals Loki Series Will Only Have 6 Episodes

It looks like the Loki series isn't going to be as long as most fans are hoping it would be. Tom Hiddleston may have revealed that the upcoming Disney+ show will only have six episodes.

Hiddleston recently sat down with MTV to discuss his current play Betrayal as well as the new series he will be working on for Disney and Marvel Studios. Interestingly, the Thor: Ragnarok star admitted that he will be playing the God of Mischief for about "six hours" in the show. Check it out at the 13:15 mark in the video below.

This could mean that there are only six episodes in the series. On the other hand, it's also possible that the Loki series will be getting 12 episodes that are 30 minutes long. Either way, it's still great to know that the God of Mischief is off to some cool new adventures soon.

Hiddleston also reflected on how playing Loki has somehow changed his life.

"I feel like I know him, I've been playing him for 10 years now, and that's crazy to me. By the time it's out, I'll be 40. When I was cast I was 29, which is a great chunk of my life…but the point is, there's a sense of ‘I know this character now, I feel the audience knows him.' Playing him, and playing him truthfully, but presenting him with new challenges which then have to change him in different ways is the most exciting aspect of it," he said.

It's certainly been an amazing journey for Hiddleston and we can't wait to see more of Loki in the future.

The Loki series is expected to premiere on Disney+ in Spring 2021.
