Tom & Jerry Live-Action Film Gets Hilarious First Trailer


It's really happening. The live-action Tom & Jerry is coming and we have the hilarious first trailer for the awesome new movie.

The trailer opens with the two rivals heading for the bus stop and seemingly saying goodbye to each other as friends. However, Jerry turns around as he crosses the street and opens his arms to Tom asking for a hug. The delighted cat rushes towards him and is immediately run over by a bus.

It is then revealed that Tom and Jerry are heading for the big city and they both end up staying in a fancy hotel. Not surprisingly, the rivalry is still going strong but this time, there are cool new live-action characters to meet.

The synopsis for Tom & Jerry reads as follows:

"One of the most beloved rivalries in history is reignited when Jerry moves into New York City's finest hotel on the eve of 'the wedding of the century,' forcing the event's desperate planner to hire Tom to get rid of him, in director Tim Story's Tom & Jerry. The ensuing cat and mouse battle threatens to destroy her career, the wedding and possibly the hotel itself. But soon, an even bigger problem arises: a diabolically ambitious staffer conspiring against all three of them."

The film also stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Michael Peña, Rob Delaney, Colin Jost, and Ken Jeong. Tom & Jerry has not yet been given an official release date but is already expected to premiere next year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
