Fans have been speculating about the importance of the Quantum Realm in Avengers 4 since the shocking post-credit scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Interestingly, the second Thor film may have confirmed that the mysterious dimension is somehow connected to the Soul Stone and on how it could potentially bring back certain characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In The Dark World, Thor decided to bring Jane Foster to Asgard so their specialists could check on what was wrong with her. Jane is laid out on a table for examination and she immediately asks if the equipment is a "quantum field generator." The specialist responds that it is "a Soul Forge." Jane asks if the equipment "transfers molecular energy from one place to another," surprising the Asgardians who confirm that it does. In addition to that, the quantum field generator is the exact shade of orange as the Soul Stone.

The scene certainly suggests that the Quantum Realm is accessible to the Soul Stone because of what the Asgardians call their equipment. Is it possible that Thanos only transferred the victims in Infinity War to a new dimension? After all, there were strange orange particles when Scott Lang entered the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp

It's certainly an interesting theory that could reveal how the heroes will be brought back next year. However, we'll have to wait until the premiere of Avengers 4 to find out for sure.

Find out if the Quantum Realm is connected to the Soul Stone when Avengers 4 hits theaters on May 3, 2019.
