Thor 4 And Ant-Man 3 Reportedly Confirmed For MCU Phase 4

People who have been hoping for yet another Thor movie are in for some good news. The recent leak of Marvel Studios' slate for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has revealed that there will be more sequels in the future. Most importantly, the leak confirmed that Thor 4 and Ant-Man 3 are just two of the new movies to look forward to.

The leak comes from an insider who spoke to Independent, revealing the full line-up for the next MCU films. Interestingly, it was confirmed that Marvel Studios has plans to work on new Thor and Ant-Man movies.

The news about Thor 4 is certainly a surprise considering that Chris Hemsworth has just announced that he is taking a break from working on new films to spend more time with his family. Nevertheless, it is possible that the fourth Thor movie will be developed much later into Phase 4.

In addition to Ant-Man 3, Marvel is reportedly preparing for Doctor Strange 2, which is expected to begin production in early 2020. A second Black Panther movie is also set to reintroduce an unexpected character.

The other sequels in the MCU slate include Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and Captain Marvel 2. Although the James Gunn film is already expected to begin production in late 2020, there are no updates yet on a second movie focusing on Carol Danvers.

The first film for MCU's Phase 4 is Black Widow, which has already started production. The Scarlett Johansson movie is expected to premiere in 2020.
