The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln Pays Tribute to Danai Gurira's Michonne in Awesome Video

There is little doubt that fans are sad knowing that Michonne will no longer be a part of The Walking Dead Season 10. Nevertheless, it looks like people are paying tribute to the beloved character in their own special way. For instance, there's former TWD star Andrew Lincoln who decided to sing a song for Danai Gurira and even left a heartfelt message for his co-star.

Gurira shared the video that Lincoln has sent her after Michonne's final episode aired last Sunday. Check it out below.

"An Ode from Andy," Gurira wrote. "This means a lot. Made me laugh and cry. Thank you so much Andy! (Great vocals! And piano skills! Is there anything this man can't do?!!!) You are one of the most incredible human beings on the planet. I'll cherish the journey with you and the whole #TWDFamily always."

In the video, Lincoln also shared the hilarious story of his first scene with Gurira where he tried to lift her for a scene but somehow dropped her after only three steps. To make matters worse, Lincoln admitted that he then fell on Gurira and hasn't stopped apologizing to her ever since. Nevertheless, he stated that he was honored to have worked with the actress on the series.

It is still unclear if Gurira will show up in the planned The Walking Dead movies that will follow Lincoln's Rick Grimes. However, fans are hoping that Michonne and Rick will eventually be reunited in the films.

The next episode of The Walking Dead Season 10 will premiere on AMC on March 29.
