The Coronavirus outbreak have just made sure that even zombies are no match to the ongoing lockdowns. It has just been confirmed that the final episode of The Walking Dead Season 10 will be postponed due to post-production not being completed amidst the pandemic.
The announcement was made by the official AMC Twitter account. Take a look at the tweet below.
"Current events have unfortunately made it impossible to complete post-production of The Walking Dead Season 10 finale, so the current season will end with its 15th episode on April 5. The planned finale will appear as a special episode later in the year," the caption read.
The season finale was originally scheduled to premiere on April 12. Unfortunately, the crew was unable to finish work on the episode due to COVID-19. For now, the new release date has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
The most recent episode of The Walking Dead Season 10 gave Michonne a proper send-off as well as a new mission. In What We Become, Michonne ended up finding another group of survivors as well as evidence that Rick Grimes is still alive. She then decided to abandon her own people and set off to find Rick. Hopefully, this could mean that Rick and Michonne could soon be reunited in the planned TWD films.
The next episode of The Walking Dead Season 10 is titled Look at the Flowers and is scheduled to premiere on AMC on March 29.
