The Suicide Squad Star Idris Elba Admits Binging Boruto Episodes During Coronavirus Quarantine


In case you missed it, Idris Elba and his wife Sabrine have both tested positive for COVID-19. However, the star of The Suicide Squad is staying strong as he and his partner are being kept in quarantine. So what does one do when you're down with Coronavirus? Elba revealed that he is currently binging on Boruto episodes.

Elba confirmed this awesome new past time during a livestream for his fans on Periscope. The Hobbs & Shaw actor offered some updates on his condition and happily answered fan questions. At one point, someone asked what Elba and Sabrine have been doing to pass the time. Interestingly, Elba admitted that his wife suggested that they should watch some anime.

"Sabrine is watching a lot of Naruto. I don't know if you know what Naruto is but she's well into that," Elba shared. However, his wife was quick to correct him about his error. "Wait, Boruto. My bad," he added.

It's great to know that Elba and Sabrine are doing well despite their condition. In addition to that, they appear to be having fun watching a truly entertaining series. We're not sure what they will be watching next but we'll be waiting for some updates.

Elba recently completed work on The Suicide Squad, which is being directed by James Gunn. The DC Extended Universe film will also star Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, and Jai Courtney and is scheduled for release on August 6, 2021.
