We're still not sure who Idris Elba will be playing in The Suicide Squad but a new video taken from the set of the Warner Bros. film may have offered a clue. The brief clip features the Hobbs & Shaw star in his full costume and he looks like ... his character from Hobbs & Shaw?

So who exactly is Elba playing in The Suicide Squad? My guess is he's still Brixton Lore and that the film is actually a surprise Fast and Furious crossover. However, the serious answer comes from fans who believe that the Avengers: Infinity War star could portray the DC Extended Universe version of Vigilante.
Unfortunately, director James Gunn has not yet revealed the identity of Elba's character in The Suicide Squad. Hopefully, we'll get an update on this once the first teaser for the movie is released.
The Suicide Squad will bring back Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. They will be joined by new cast members Elba, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, John Cena, Storm Reid, Flula Borg, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi, Pete Davidson, Alice Braga, Sean Gunn, Michael Rooker, Taika Waititi, Joaquín Cosío, Mayling Ng, Juan Diego Botto, Tinashe Kajese, Julio Ruiz, and Jennifer Holland. The movie will premiere on August 6, 2021.
