The Old Guard Star Charlize Theron Teases Atomic Blonde 2

There is little doubt that fans love seeing Charlize Theron in action. But is it possible that she will soon be returning as a top-level MI6 field agent? The star of The Old Guard has just teased on wanting to return as Lorraine Broughton in Atomic Blonde 2.

Theron recently shared a video on her official Twitter account that shows her rehearsing one of the fight sequences for The Old Guard while stuntman Sam Hargrave looks on. Theron then added an interesting caption to the tweet. Check it out below.

"Seal of approval from my OG Sam Hargrave! Love you mad - now let's get ready for Atomic 2!!!" Theron wrote.

Not surprisingly, the caption immediately had fans excited for the sequel. Although Atomic Blonde 2 has not yet been confirmed, it's great to know that Theron is eager to get back into action soon.

The first Atomic Blonde movie is based on the graphic novel The Coldest City which follows a spy trying to find a list of double agents being smuggled into the West on the eve of the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989. The movie also starred James McAvoy, John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella, and Toby Jones. Although the sequel has been reported to be in development, there haven't been any recent updates about the project.
