The Mandalorian Season 2 Timeline Revealed by Pedro Pascal

There is little doubt that people are already looking forward to The Mandalorian Season 2. But what exactly can we expect in the next chapter of the Star Wars series? Will the new story take place several years after the events in the first season? Luckily, fans don't have to wonder for long as Pedro Pascal has just confirmed the show's current timeline.

Pascal recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly where he confirmed that there will not be a major time jump in The Mandalorian Season 2.

"We start very directly after the first [season] and he's going into very dangerous territory," Pascal said.

In the previous season finale, Djarin and Baby Yoda barely escaped as Moff Gideon launched a huge attack. This means that The Mandalorian Season 2 will find the duo on the run and with Djarin still struggling to understand The Child.

"He is very much a passenger to the experience in unexpected ways — not knowing what's to come, not knowing how much or how best to protect the Child. We don't know how far he will go to do that, and they're finding new ways to push the envelope," Pascal said.

Although Djarin will have to figure out many things about his new companion, it looks like he'll manage to find an awesome way to carry Baby Yoda. One of the images from the second season shows the bounty hunter on a speeder bike with The Child on a carrier.

The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on October 31.
