The Mandalorian Fans Freak out Over Robert Rodriguez's Jaw-Dropping Star Wars Debut

If you tuned in to the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2, there's a good chance that you were at the edge of your seat from all the awesome action sequences and that surprise ending. With that in mind, it's no surprise that fans are now freaking out over Robert Rodriguez's jaw-dropping Star Wars debut.

Back in May, it was confirmed that Rodriguez would be one of the directors working on The Mandalorian Season 2. From there, people already had high expectations from the filmmaker who is responsible for Alita: Battle Angel and El Mariachi.

Needless to say, Rodriguez didn't disappoint as Chapter 14: The Tragedy immediately brought back Boba Fett and Fennec Shand then proceeded to show off just how deadly Boba could be despite his minor appearance in the original Star Wars trilogy films. In addition to that, the "tragedy" in the episode's title was truly depressing.

The episode had a somber conclusion but that didn't stop fans from gushing about Rodriguez's effort.

So is it possible that Rodriguez will be directing more than just one episode in The Mandalorian Season 2? There are two more episodes to go and the next one is already expected to be helmed by Rick Famuyiwa. It might be too soon to hope but we're crossing our fingers on the possibility that Rodriguez will have another awesome surprise for us in the season finale.
