The Flash Will Reportedly Feature Michael Keaton in Batman Costume

There is little doubt that people are currently excited about Michael Keaton's possible return as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming The Flash film. Interestingly, a new report suggests that the veteran actor will once again be putting on the Batman costume. However, this could only be bad news for fans who are already expecting the arrival of Terry McGinnis.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keaton is already in talks to appear in Ezra Miller's The Flash movie. The report also notes that the Beetlejuice star will be in costume for the film.

This is awesome, isn't it? Unfortunately, it also means that Keaton's Bruce Wayne is still Batman and not the older version who recruits Terry to take on the cowl. Sadly, this means that hopes for a Batman Beyond live-action adaptation will be teased in The Flash.

Of course, there's still a possibility that The Flash will initially introduce Keaton's Batman and then the post-credits scene could hint at Batman Beyond. On the other hand, it might be too much to hope for at the moment. For now, fans will have to settle with the small victory of having Keaton return as the Caped Crusader.
