The Batman Star Paul Dano Hypes up Matt Reeves' 'Powerful' Script

It seems like the cast of The Batman just can't help but sing praises about Matt Reeves and what he has prepared in The Batman. Paul Dano is the latest star of the upcoming DC flick who only has great things to say about the director and his script.

Dano, who has been confirmed to play The Riddler in The Batman, recently spoke to The Playlist about getting ready to work on his new project only to be told to stay home due to the coronavirus outbreak.

"I was filming. I flew home to visit my baby and then didn't get to fly back [to set, because of COVID-19], which is a really strange thing," Dano said. Although he has yet to resume working on the movie, the Okja actor believes that the finished product will be amazing.

"I feel really good about it. I think Matt Reeves is the real deal. I was really surprised by his script, which I think is, is potentially really powerful. Hopefully, we'll get to get back to it sometime soon? I'm not sure," Dano said.

It's cool that the cast of The Batman is saying all the right things about the movie without giving too much away. Personally, Dano's Edward Nashton is the one character I am already excited about since he's a pro at playing men with questionable intentions. We're just hoping that we'll get a teaser soon after the movie resumes production.

The Batman is one of the movies that is expected to resume filming now that the UK has signed off on new safety guidelines that will allow productions to continue in the country.
