We already know that Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton, and Edward Furlong are all coming back in Terminator: Dark Fate. However, there's one more actor from Terminator 2: Judgement Day who is eager to reprise his role in the future. Robert Patrick has just admitted that he is hoping to return as T-1000 soon.
Patrick recently spoke to Comicbook.com about his new project Tone-Deaf. Not surprisingly, the former X-Files star revealed that he wouldn't turn down the chance to reprise his role as John Doggett in the Fox series or as T-1000 in the James Cameron franchise.
"All of it, man," Patrick said. "The industry's changing. You navigate the best you can, you try to get the best material you can. Your creative integrity is based solely on your financial integrity, you've got your life to lead, you've got a craft that you're trying to do, you're trying to improve and get better at, you're trying to get access to the best material, you're trying to put your kid through college. You've got all sorts of s--t going on."
Although he's ready to get back into the action now, that wasn't always the case. Patrick confessed that he wasn't exactly open to returning to his iconic roles but he's changed his mind since then.
"All of the stuff that I've done, if someone was to come back to me and say, 'Hey. You want to take another crack at it?' I would say, 'Sure. Let's go for it.' I don't think I've always felt that way, but now I do. So, there you go. I contradict [myself]," he said.
To be fair, Patrick has actually played T-1000 in two more movies after Terminator 2. He appeared briefly in Wayne's World 2 where he was still looking for John Connor. Patrick also had a small cameo in Schwarzenegger's Last Action Hero as the steel-faced terminator disguised as a cop. Either way, it would be cool to see T-1000 again in the future.
Terminator: Dark Fate will hit theaters on November 1.
