Suicide Squad Director David Ayer Reveals Enchantress' Final Look in Rare Concept Art

It's no secret that Cara Delevingne looks great in just about anything, even in the scary look she wore in Suicide Squad. However, it looks like David Ayer had different plans for Enchantress in the DC Extended Universe flick. The director has just shared rare concept art from the Warner Bros. movie and it confirms that the DC comic book character was supposed to look ethereal in her final form.

A fan had previously shared the early concept art on Twitter and Ayer was quick to retweet it with an interesting caption. Check it out below.

"This is where I wanted to take her look," Ayer wrote.

It's a huge difference from what ended up in the movie where Enchantress appeared to be dressed in rags before eventually going for a dark green royal look. It may have a lot to do with Ayer choosing to go with a darker, more sinister look for the character but it would have been breathtaking to see her looking more angelic.

Ayer has been quite vocal about wanting to get his own Ayer cut of Suicide Squad just like what Zack Snyder will be doing for Justice League. "My cut would be easy to complete. It would be incredibly cathartic for me. It's exhausting getting your ass kicked for a film that got the Edward Scissorhands treatment. The film I made has never been seen," he said.
