Stranger Things Star Dacre Montgomery Teases MCU Wolverine Casting with Awesome Photo

It's still unclear if he will be back in Stranger Things Season 4 but it looks like Dacre Montgomery has just teased on an exciting new role in a future project. The former Power Rangers star has just hinted at being cast as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of Wolverine.

Montgomery took to his official Twitter account to share a fan-made poster created by digital artist Bosslogic. However, the Stranger Things actor immediately deleted his tweet a few hours later, sparking speculations that someone from Marvel Studios had found the post.

There are several reasons why fans immediately picked up on the tease. After all, Montgomery's possible casting has been reported two years ago although an announcement was never made. In addition to that, some noted that the fan art he chose to share isn't exactly a new one and was first created when the news about Montgomery's casting made its rounds.

For now, it's unclear if Montgomery will be taking over the role of Wolverine now that Hugh Jackman has chosen to retire from the role. However, he seems like an interesting choice for the character and it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Marvel Studios makes an official announcement before the end of the year. In the meantime, we will be waiting for an update.

Do you think Dacre Montgomery will make a good Wolverine? Sound off in the comments below.
