Stranger Things Season 4 Will Reportedly Begin Filming In October

It looks like Netflix isn't wasting any time when it comes to one of its most successful shows. The streaming giant is reportedly planning for Stranger Things Season 4 to begin filming in October.

The news comes from Production Weekly, which lists Stranger Things Season 4 as one of the projects that could begin production by October. The new season even already has a working title Wonder View although Netflix has not yet announced the show's renewal. With filming possibly starting in a few months, the streaming giant could make it official before the end of July or by August.

So what's with the rush to get Stranger Things Season 4 started? It might have to do with the storyline taking place between Thanksgiving and Christmas. After all, as Bloody Disgusting points out, Mike and Eleven already have plans to reunite for the holidays. Unfortunately, returning to Hawkins could mean that the kids will once again have to face new trouble soon.

But what can fans expect in Stranger Things Season 4? One of the immediate concerns is undoubtedly the fate of Jim Hopper. Although El's adoptive dad was seemingly killed in Stranger Things Season 3, there are speculations that he actually survived and happens to be "the American" referred to by the Russian guards in the post-credits scene. However, we'll have to wait for the next chapter to find out if Hopper is still alive.

Stranger Things Season 3 is currently streaming on Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates on the fourth season.
