Stranger Things Season 4 Premiere Date Could Be Moved To Late 2020

It has only been a little over a week since the premiere of Stranger Things Season 3 but people are already wondering when they could watch the next chapter. However, it looks like it's going to be a very long wait for Stranger Things Season 4. A new report suggests that the fourth season might not air on Netflix until late next year.

There is little doubt that Stranger Things seems to premiere at a certain time. The first season aired in the middle of summer although the premise took place right before Thanksgiving while Season 2 happened at Halloween. Stranger Things 3 was all about the Fourth of July and fans are expecting Season 4 to cover yet another holiday. Screenrant suggests that the next chapter could be all about Christmas or New Year.

This shouldn't be a surprising idea considering that Christmas is a special time for Stranger Things. The first season concluded with everyone enjoying Christmas Eve so it would be interesting to bring the series back to that particular holiday. After all, there should be some major reunions in Hawkins at that time since the Byers family (including Eleven) are moving away. Christmas is the best time for them to return to town and revisit the horrors they went through, I guess.

But will Stranger Things Season 4 actually premiere on Christmas? We can't really be sure just yet since Netflix has not yet renewed the series. Although fans are confident that a fourth season will be announced soon, it might take some time to work on that and a December premiere seems likely.

Stranger Things 3 is currently streaming on Netflix.
