Stranger Things 3 Star Weighs In On Whether Their Character Is Still Alive

There is little doubt that the third season of Stranger Things is the bloodiest season yet as the body count was significantly higher. But is it possible that most of the characters who were believed to be dead are still alive? Francesca Reale weighs in on whether her own character Heather survived her encounter with the Mind Flayer in Stranger Things Season 3.

In the third season, Heather was Billy Hargrove's first victim after he was possessed by the Mind Flayer. Once Heather was also possessed, they worked together to bring in more townsfolk for the monster to feed on. At one point, all of the victims were turned into a massive blob and appeared to have been killed when the Mind Flayer was defeated.

So are all those people, including Heather, actually dead? Reale recently spoke to Cinemablend about the fate of Heather where the actress admitted that she is hoping her character didn't necessarily die after being "flayed" in Stranger Things 3.

"I would love for some of her to still be around in some way or maybe when she's gone, she's gone. But I don't know! I guess that is open to all possibilities. I hope! I would love for her to not be completely dead because she still has such a long life to live. She's gotta go to college, buy a car. All of the above," Reale said.

We're really hoping that all of the Mind Flayer's victims somehow woke up the next day with nothing more than a bad headache to worry about. Unfortunately, it looks like most of the residents of Hawkins, including Heather, are no longer around.
