Star Wars: Will Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Introduce Young Luke Skywalker?

There is little doubt that Star Wars fans are currently thrilled with the idea that Ewan McGregor will be returning as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new Disney+ series. But is it possible that the Jedi Master isn't the only original Force-sensitive character who will return in the planned show? What are the chances that we'll see a young Luke Skywalker in the new series?

It was previously reported that McGregor is already in talks to reprise his role from the Star Wars prequels in a new series that will focus on the young Obi-Wan. Although the premise of the show is still unclear, it could follow the Jedi Master's life after he decided to live as a hermit on Tatooine. Not surprisingly, the possibility immediately had fans wondering if the series will introduce a young Luke.

So what could go wrong with the idea of a little Luke showing up in the Obi-Wan series? Hopefully, it will work out just fine. However, it is important to point out that Luke has only been played by the legendary Mark Hamill. Some fans might not be happy about the character being re-cast in the Disney+ show.

Of course, it is important to point out that these are still based on theories. With that in mind, it would be best to take this with a grain of salt.

Luke isn't the only original trilogy character who could show up in the Obi-Wan series. It was previously reported that Darth Vader might also make an appearance in the highly anticipated show.
