Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Final Trailer Description Reveals Tense Kylo Ren Scene

We only need to wait one more day until the premiere of the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker final trailer during Monday Night Football. However, a new report may have revealed what will happen in the new teaser and it could get tense for Kylo Ren.

The details come from Making Star Wars, which reveals some of the interesting new footage that will appear in the Rise of Skywalker trailer. Although most fans are already expecting to see more of Rey and the rest of the heroes in action, it looks like the final trailer will finally give us our first look at the return of Emperor Sheev Palpatine.

According to the report, the trailer will open with a figure walking towards a large cube on a rocky mountain. The figure is none other than Kylo Ren, who enters a lift under the cube and goes into the planet's core. At this point, he ignites his lightsaber to shine the light on an old man strapped to a vertical med-chair. When he puts the weapon up to the man's face, the man simply laughs and tells him he is Darth Sidious.

That's right, Palpatine is definitely back and you'll finally get to see Ian McDiarmid return as the Emperor. Although the trailer will also feature a montage of Rey and the other heroes in action, it all ends with Palpatine having the last word.

It's exciting to know that Palpatine will show up in the new trailer. After all, he's always been the Big Bad in the Skywalker Saga so it's awesome that we'll finally get to see his return. Needless to say, we're already looking forward to the trailer's premiere on Monday night.

The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker final trailer will air during Monday Night Football at 8:15 PM ET. The film is scheduled for release on December 20.
