The latest episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 revealed that there were other important things happening when Order 66 was being executed. For instance, Shattered confirmed that Captain Rex still had his inhibitor chip when Darth Sidious gave the order. In addition to that, fans realized that an important scene in Revenge of the Sith had been cut off before the Jedi Council got to the interesting part.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 11 opened with Maul being handed over to Ahsoka Tano who promised to bring the villain to justice. But before they left Mandalore, Ahsoka was actually invited to join a holographic meeting with the Jedi Council. The scene that followed was pretty much something that fans have already seen in Revenge of the Sith where Yoda and the other Jedi masters discussed what needs to be done with Palpatine. However, Shattered confirmed that there was more to the scene.

The scene continued with Ahsoka joining the meeting and confirming that she will be bringing Maul to Coruscant as part of her duty as a citizen. She then asks for Anakin Skywalker because she has something important to discuss with him. Unfortunately, Ahsoka is told that both Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi have been sent on new missions and it is somehow revealed by Mace Windu that Palpatine is a threat. When Ahsoka tries to get more information, she is turned down because she is a citizen.

It's interesting to note that the conversation could have easily turned to what Ahsoka already knows: Darth Sidious is planning to bring Anakin to the Dark Side. Unfortunately, she never gets to tell the Jedi Council because of the way the meeting was handled.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Episode 11 is currently streaming on Disney+.
