Star Wars: Solo Concept Art Teases Epic Showdown on Top of Millennium Falcon

Solo: A Star Wars Story may not have been the most commercially successful film in the franchise but you have to admit it had some awesome action sequences. Interestingly, a newly revealed concept art may have confirmed there could have been a truly epic one that never came to be. The art actually depicts a huge showdown that takes place on top of the Millennium Falcon.

Star Wars concept artist Vincent Jenkins shared the art on his Instagram account and confirmed that it was actually inspired by a James Cameron film. Check it out below.

"Another concept from Solo this was an idea I wish made it in. A showdown upon the roof of the Falcon. Inspired by True Lies one of my fav films," Jenkins wrote.

This could have been a jaw-dropping sequence that would see Han Solo and Q'ira facing off against Dryden Vos. It might also increase the danger that Han has to face knowing that the other two are truly skilled fighters. On the other hand, we're a little relieved that this didn't happen considering that it could mean that the Falcon will suffer more damages.

Solo: A Star Wars Story was directed by Ron Howard and starred Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, and Paul Bettany. Although a sequel to the film is unlikely, there have been speculations that a spin-off series focusing on the criminal gangs featured in the film is being considered. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
