Star Wars: Sneaky Han Solo Tribute Revealed in The Last Jedi Opening Sequence

One of the most unfortunate things that happened in the Star Wars sequel trilogy was undoubtedly the death of Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. However, it looks like the Resistance actually found a way to get back at the First Order for killing one of their heroes. Interestingly, it has taken this long for someone to notice the sneaky yet awesome Easter Egg in the Star Wars: The Last Jedi opening sequence.

Episode VIII opens with a battle sequence as the Resistance takes on a First Order dreadnought. It's a fight that they would almost lose considering that it cost the lives of several pilots including Paige Tico. However, it looks like one of the bombs that Paige released on the First Order actually had an unexpected message.

One Reddit user has pointed out that some of the bombs had interesting messages which were similar to how soldiers once left clever designs on their explosives during World War II. One of the bombs had a message in Aurebesh which, when translated into English, reads, "Han Says Hi." Amusingly, the bomb beside it has a smiley face that would make Han proud.

In Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017) the phrase "Han Says Hi" can be seen on a Proton bomb used to destroy a First Order Dreadnought. It's written in 'Aurebesh', the most used language in the Star Wars Universe.
