Star Wars: Rian Johnson Posts Awesome Carrie Fisher Photo While Joining Knives Out Challenge

In case you missed it, there's a Knives Out Challenge sweeping social media where people need to post a photo of themselves in a sweater. Not surprisingly, director Rian Johnson has joined the challenge and his picture actually features the late Carrie Fisher on the set of Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Johnson posted the image on his official Twitter account and it has Star Wars fans feeling a little nostalgic. Check it out below.

It's great to see Fisher again even if it's just an old photo. In addition to that, Johnson's cool lobster sweater is truly a piece of art.

Johnson is probably the last director to work with Fisher, who passed away in 2016. However, Fisher is still expected to appear in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker through previously unused footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Needless to say, we are loving how Johnson's #KnivesOutChallenge picture somehow pays tribute to Fisher.

Knives Out is currently out and already getting rave reviews (probably not for the sweaters, which are still awesome). The film stars Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, Lakeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell, and Christopher Plummer.

Knives Out is now screening in theaters worldwide. Fisher will return as General Leia Organa in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which is scheduled for release on December 20.
