Star Wars: Kylo Ren Reveals Why People Joined the Resistance in The Rise of Skywalker

There is little doubt that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker had several awesome scenes. However, one of the most memorable moments was when thousands of ships joined the Resistance in the fight against the First Order and the Sith Star Destroyers. But why did so many people suddenly decided to join the battle? Kylo Ren has an interesting explanation.

The Kylo Ren Twitter account @KyloR3n recently weighed in on how Leia Organa managed to convince so many people to join the Resistance. Take a look at their tweet below.

"mom nobody cares about your rebellion they are all just there to hang out with lando calrissian," the tweet reads.

Well, we can't really blame them for wanting to see Lando Calrissian. After all, he's been hiding for a long time and we all know he's someone that everyone looks up to. Perhaps the opportunity to hang out with Lando is a great bonus for those who joined the Resistance.

Lando's return was one of the most anticipated moments in The Rise of Skywalker since it was confirmed that Billy Dee Williams would reprise the role in the film. Luckily, the character had a lot to do in the movie and was even part of the epic battle in the Third Act. We're not sure if Williams will be back again in the future but it was awesome to see him back in action in Episode IX.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is currently screening in theaters worldwide.
