Star Wars: John Boyega Reacts To Keri Russell Saying Zorri Bliss Has Some History With Poe Dameron

Keri Russell has just confirmed that her Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker character is someone from Poe Dameron's past and not surprisingly, John Boyega isn't having any of it.

Boyega and Russell joined their Rise of Skywalker co-stars onstage at D23 Expo 2019 to promote the film (via MovieWeb). When Russell was asked about Zorri Bliss, she revealed that the mysterious character is "cool and shady. She's kind of a criminal and old friend of Poe's."

OK, we're cool with that, but Boyega wasn't happy with the revelation. He feigned jealousy and told Oscar Isaac, "I'm not impressed, babe. Not impressed." Isaac, in turn, said, "It was in the past, babe."

Hey, so what just happened? For all of those who have been missing out, there are thousands of Star Wars fans who have been shipping Finn and Poe since The Force Awakens. It's so massive that even Boyega and Isaac are well aware of it and enjoy teasing the fans with their own bromance. Unfortunately, the revelation about Zorri could confirm that this ship is already sinking.

While we're hoping that Boyega and Isaac can work around this, it's interesting to note that Zorri's connection is actually with Poe and not Rey. After all, there have been speculations that the character might have been the one who transported Rey to Jakku when Rey was still a little girl. Either way, we're looking forward to learning more about Zorri this December.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20.
