Star Wars: Harrison Ford Mistakes Kryptonite for Carbonite

Sometimes keeping up with all those lines can be too much for some actors. This is especially true with Harrison Ford, who can't even remember what Han Solo was frozen in in The Empire Strikes Back. The Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor mistook carbonite for something else and had a hilarious reaction when he was corrected.

Ford is currently promoting his new film Call of the Wild when he spoke to Fox 32's Jake Hamilton. The interviewer stated that he was a huge fan of Han's iconic response to Princess Leia's "I love you" in The Empire Strikes Back and wanted to know how Ford came up with the line. While answering the question, Ford made the mistake of saying "kryptonite" instead of "carbonite", something that Hamilton quickly corrected. Not surprisingly, Ford's reaction to that would make Han proud.

You can't really expect him to remember every little detail at this point. After all, Ford has probably had to memorize thousands of lines in his long career. When you're part of several different major franchises, it's pretty hard to keep up with all the details.

Ford recently reprised his role as Han Solo in The Rise of Skywalker and is expected to return as Indy in Indiana Jones 5 soon. His most recent project is the live-action adaptation of Call of the Wild, which is scheduled for release on February 21.
