Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set to bring fans closer to the Resistance and the fight against the First Order. The first trailer for the new attraction Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has just been dropped.
The trailer opens with a First Order officer consulting a BB-series astromech droid similar to BB-9E. We also get a glimpse at Stormtroopers and a mouse droid in what appears to be a First Order ship. However, the peaceful scene is shattered when the officers realize that they are being attacked by the Resistance.
The description for Riseof the Resistance reads as follows:
"Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance coming to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will puts guests in the middle of an epic battle between the Resistance and the First Order."
It certainly looks like Galaxy's Edge will be one of the most immersive areas at Disneyland and Walt Disney World next year. Riseof the Resistance is just one of the several awesome rides to look forward to in 2019.
Galaxy's Edge also released a trailer for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, which focuses on Han Solo's iconic vessel. The ride is set to be one of the best attractions in the area because it places "guests behind the controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy in one of three unique flight crew roles."
Riseof the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run are guaranteed huge hits when the Galaxy's Edge finally opens next year. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will open at Disneyland in Summer 2019 and at Walt Disney World in Fall 2019.
