Star Wars: Ashley Eckstein Confirms The Clone Wars Season 7 will Give Ahsoka Tano 'Her Proper Ending'

The final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars has taken an exciting new turn by bringing back Ahsoka Tano in Episode 5. But are we going to see more of the former padawan in the future? Ashley Eckstein has just confirmed that her character is set to play a major role in the upcoming episodes of Season 7. In addition to that, the voice actress teased that Ahsoka will finally get "her proper ending."

In an interview with Syfy Wire, Eckstein confirmed that Ahsoka's decision to leave the Jedi in the fifth season of The Clone Wars didn't mean the end just yet. She then added that the character's story will still continue in the final season.

"When Ahsoka walked away from the Jedi Order at the end of Season 5, that was never meant to be the end of Ahsoka's storyline," Eckstein said. "But these next eight episodes that you're gonna see will wrap up Ahsoka's storyline in The Clone Wars. So I can't say much, but it's definitely giving our girl her proper ending for the series."

Wait, does that mean no more Ahsoka in the future? Eckstein was quick to point out that she doesn't know yet what will happen after The Clone Wars ends.

"I also wanna be careful and say post these next eight episodes, even I don't know what happens," she said.

We're not sure how to feel about this one considering that there have been speculations that Rosario Dawson will be playing an adult Ahsoka in the second season of The Mandalorian. For now, we can rest assured that Ahsoka's fate will not be left hanging in The Clone Wars Season 7.

The fifth episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 is currently streaming on Disney+.
