Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Could Feature Possible Romance for Seven of Nine

The final episode of Star Trek: Picard Season 1 is finally out and there is little doubt that fans are still shaken by what happened in Et in Arcadia, Ego Part II. But did the season finale also tease on what could happen in the future? There are speculations that the second season of the series could introduce an interesting romance for Seven of Nine.

WARNING: The following contains spoilers from Star Trek: Picard Season 1 Episode 10. Proceed with caution.

In Et in Arcadia, Ego Part II, all hell was set to break loose as the Romulans and Starfleet prepared to blow each other away while Soji Asha prepares to lead the Synth Alliance. However, Jean-Luc Picard still manages to put a stop to everything as he pleaded with everyone with a moving speech about sacrifices. Although it worked and persuaded everyone to stand down, Picard himself ultimately succumbs to the brain abnormality that takes his life. But of course, that's not the end for him just yet.

Naturally, the final episode still found a way to bring back Picard and somehow ensure yet another cameo from Brent Spiner as Data. In addition to that, the finale teased at what could be a new romantic connection for Seven of Nine.

At the last few moments of the episode, Seven is shown playing the Vulcan strategy game Kal-Toh with Raffi. While this in itself somehow confirms that we'll see more of Seven in Season 2, the two are also featured clasping their hands in an intimate manner. So will we see Seven and Raffi get into a relationship in the future? This looks like an interesting development we could look forward to in the series.
