Have you ever wondered what Patrick Stewart would look like with an eyepatch? You won't have to imagine things for long. The new teaser for Star Trek: Picard offers a glimpse at the upcoming Episode 5 and it has exactly what you never expected to see: A cheeky Jean-Luc Picard donning an eyepatch.
The teaser opens with Seven of Nine asking Picard who he is looking for. The obvious answer is Bruce Maddox, but where can they probably find him? Luckily, Raffi Jurati has located the man although there are a few roadblocks to deal with. For one, the crew will need to look like a bunch of locals who apparently prefer feathered hats and brightly-colored suits.
Now it's time for some fun outfits. Raffi immediately gets Picard and Chris Rios all dressed up, something that doesn't exactly impress Picard. "Are you serious? Sending us down there looking like this?" he asked. Nevertheless, Raffi is quite serious because they "really need to sell this" with "a little panache."
It's beginning to look like an awesome episode with a fun title: Stardust City Rag. And it's not just about seeing Picard looking like a pirate, either. Seven of Nine also gets into the action so expect a bar brawl next week.
The upcoming episode will once again be directed by Jonathan Frakes. Star Trek: Picard Episode 5 is titled Stardust City Rag and is scheduled to premiere on CBS All Access on February 20.
