Star Trek: Discovery Composer Shares Update on Noah Hawley's Star Trek 4

It has been a while since we got any updates on Star Trek 4 but it looks like the film is still moving forward. Star Trek Discovery composer Jeff Russo has just confirmed that he has discussed the highly anticipated movie with Noah Hawley and the two have exchanged ideas on how the film should sound.

Russo revealed to Comicbook.com that he has spoken to Hawley about Star Trek 4 although the composer didn't get any details about the movie.

"We have had conversations about what it might sound like, what it might be, what he's thinking," Russo said. "Nothing is set in stone right now. The movie is still in development and still being written and there are lots of pieces that need to get put into place, so who knows what's going to happen?"

Russo was quick to point out that he usually speaks to Hawley about their ongoing projects and that he didn't get any details about Star Trek 4 just yet.

"This was two people who are artistic talking about what the possibilities are for what the new Star Trek movie could sound like or could have in it or could be," he said.

Although there's not much to go on here, we're still glad to know that Hawley is determined to work on Star Trek 4. Let's just hope we'll be getting more updates in the future.

Star Trek 4 is currently still in development and has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
