There is little doubt that everyone is disappointed now that Sony had decided to take Spider-Man back from Disney and Marvel Studios. However, that doesn't mean that people don't have any bright ideas on how to keep Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans are now calling on Marvel to work on a Night Monkey movie and Tom Holland could even be involved.
In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter insisted that he shouldn't wear his trademark suit in case it gives away his identity. Nick Fury immediately had a new stealth suit created for him, which was then dubbed Night Monkey.
Technically, Night Monkey isn't Spider-Man in the MCU. However, he's still Spider-Man but in a less flashy suit, right? Not surprisingly, there are a lot of fans who believe that there's a movie here that Marvel can work around.
Marvel could even get Holland to play Night Monkey because he's perfect for the job.
How serious are these people? There are already a few Night Monkey movie posters making the rounds on Twitter.
It's certainly an awesome idea considering how much Spider-Man has meant to the MCU fans. The character had a close relationship with Tony Stark and was the one person that Tony entrusted with EDITH. Hopefully, Sony would still change their mind about taking Peter away from the MCU.
