Snake Eyes Wraps Production, Henry Golding Promises G.I. Joe Spin-off Will 'Blow Everyone's Socks Off'

That's a wrap for Snake Eyes, or at least for its main cast. Henry Golding has just confirmed that the G.I. Joe spin-off has finished principal photography and the Crazy Rich Asians star says it's "going to blow everyone's socks off."

Golding confirmed the wrap through a new photo he shared on his official Instagram account. Take a look at the post below.

"...and THAT, is a principal wrap on Snake Eyes lady's and gents," Golding wrote. "What a crew we had, Vancouver + Japan, you were unstoppable. Thank you for the dedication, this film is going to blow everyone's socks off."

Well, that was quick. The production for Snake Eyes was only confirmed back in January but it looks like the cast and crew are doing a great job in maintaining a fast schedule. Of course, there might still be a few more tweaks that need to be done on filming. However, it's great to know that the movie could soon be ready for its October premiere.

The cast of Snake Eyes includes Andrew Koji (Warrior) as Storm Shadow, Iko Uwais (Wu Assassins) as Hard Master, Úrsula Corberó (Money Heist) as Baroness, and Samara Weaving (Bill and Ted Face the Music) as Scarlett. Haruka Abe, Takehiro Hira and Steven Allerick have all been cast in undisclosed roles in the film.

Snake Eyes will focus on the origin story of the G.I. Joe character and how his relationship with Storm Shadow eventually became strained. The film is currently scheduled for release on October 23.
