She-Hulk Series: Doctor Sleep Star Reportedly Being Eyed As Jennifer Walters For Marvel Show

It looks like Marvel Studios is already looking for the perfect actress to play She-Hulk. A new report suggests that the villain in Doctor Sleep is being eyed to portray Jennifer Walters.

The report comes from We Got This Covered, which cites several sources who have confirmed that Marvel is considering Rebecca Ferguson for the lead role in the She-Hulk series. However, that doesn't mean that the Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation actress is the only one being eyed for the role. There is reportedly a list of possible stars that includes Rosario Dawson and Ronda Rousey.

Ferguson seems like an interesting choice considering that she has already proven her acting chops and she could hold her own in action sequences. Although we already like this idea, it's best to remember that the speculations have not yet been confirmed. With that in mind, you will need to take the information with a grain of salt.

There's another actress who would be perfect for She-Hulk and she's already open to the idea. Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz had previously admitted that she would like to take on the role of Jennifer in the Marvel series. In fact, Beatriz has already been preparing for it in case she gets the call.

"I definitely have upped my workouts since reading some of those things," Beatriz said. "But also, [I think it would] be really exciting for fans to see some of these characters that we kind of decided are one thing, to sort of be imagined in a different way."

For now, She-Hulk has not yet been given an official premiere date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
