Sebastian Stan Offers Update on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Following COVID-19 Shutdown

At this point, it seems like every major production has been properly shut down due to the Coronavirus outbreak. But how are things going for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier? Sebastian Stan has offered an update on the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe series but it isn't exactly good news.

Stan was recently interviewed by Muscle & Fitness and the Avengers: Endgame actor revealed that he isn't sure when the show will go back into production.

"It's not really at the forefront of my mind. You know, we were lucky to get far enough," Stan said.

The Captain America: Civil War star also confirmed that the cast and crew were still working on the episodes before production had to be shut down due to COVID-19.

"We haven't finished. The plan is to go back whenever we can, whenever that might be, to finish," Stan said. "Whenever we can turn this thing around and people can get back together, we can pick back up, but I just don't know at this point."

It's no surprise that Stan has no idea when The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will resume production. After all, it is still unclear how long the mandatory shutdowns will have to be put in place. Nevertheless, we're hoping to hear some good news in the near future.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is expected to premiere on Disney+ later this year.
