Rumor: First Captain Marvel Trailer Might Be Released In September

We could be getting our first look at Captain Marvel later this month. Rumor has it that the trailer for the Brie Larson film will be dropped in September along with some pretty good news about the Black Panther sequel.

Beyond The Trailer's Grace Randolph has just revealed that she received some inside news about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She teased that September will be a huge month for the studio and we can expect some "good stuff" in the next few weeks. Check out her tweet below.

It certainly sounds like Randolph is referring to Carol Danvers in her post. In Captain Marvel, Larson will portray a US Air Force pilot whose DNA is fused with an alien, giving her superhuman powers. Although it is unclear what we could expect this month, there are speculations that the first trailer for the MCU film will finally be released. It should come at a perfect time as well since Captain Marvel is set to premiere in seven short months.

The tweet also refers to "a cat," which Randolph clarified is "a billion dollar cat we've already met." So unless Grumpy Cat's net worth has risen to the billion-dollar mark and he's getting his own Marvel movie, it's safe to say that we could be getting some Black Panther 2 news this September.

We could really use some good news from Marvel at this time. After all, fans have been disappointed after Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was put on permanent hold. Hopefully, things will be looking up for MCU in the next few months.

Captain Marvel will be released on March 8, 2019.
