Robert Pattinson's The Batman Production Start Date Possibly Revealed

It looks like Warner Bros. is eager to begin work on The Batman as soon as possible. A new report reveals that Robert Pattinson could start filming for the Matt Reeves film in less than six months.

According to Geeks Worldwide, Reeves is planning to begin production on the DC Extended Universe film by January 19 in London. It's a reasonable scheduled that should give Pattinson plenty of time to complete his other movie Tenet with Christopher Nolan. In addition to that, it should allow Reeves to cast the villains which could include Catwoman, Penguin, Firefly, Riddler, and more.

This is certainly good news for fans who are already looking forward to seeing Pattinson take on the role of the Caped Crusader. Although there have been people who question the casting, the Twilight star's fans have been greatly supportive of Pattinson.

The Batman recently added Robert Richardson as the film's cinematographer. So far, there have been no other cast members added to the movie. Stay tuned for more updates on that.

The new Batman movie is expected to focus on the early years of Bruce Wayne taking on his new persona. With that in mind, fans are wondering if it will also include the Boy Wonder, who has yet to be reunited with Bruce on the big screen after the disastrous Batman and Robin. Although this has yet to be confirmed, people are already looking forward to finding out who will be cast as Robin.

The Batman is currently scheduled for release in 2021.
