Rick And Morty Season 4 Character Glootie Is Voiced By Your Favorite Marvel Star

There is little doubt that Rick and Morty fans are delighted with the first look at Season 4 that was released at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. However, that's not the only awesome surprise in the clip. As it turns out, the new character named Glootie also happens to be voiced by one of the most beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe stars.

Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon confirmed at SDCC that the new Rick and Morty Season 4 character Glootie will be voiced by Taika Waititi, who also played Korg in Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame (via Consequence of Sound). Waititi, who directed the third Thor film, celebrated his character's reveal on Twitter.

Waititi is hardly the only high-profile guest star on Rick and Morty Season 4. Roiland and Harmon confirmed that Kanye West will show up in the upcoming season along with Sam Neill, Paul Giamatti, and Kathleen Turner.

While we have yet to meet West's character in the fourth season, it's truly awesome to meet Glootie, who could be a recurring character on the show. After all, he already has his own Funko POP! figure revealed at SDCC. Hopefully, this new gig won't affect Waititi's busy schedule.

It was previously confirmed that Waititi has signed on to direct Thor 4 after the planned Akira film has been delayed. In addition to that, the What We Do In The Shadows co-director is working on an episode (and voicing another beloved character) for the Star Wars series The Mandalorian.

Rick and Morty Season 4 will premiere on Adult Swim this November.
